Collections

The Melanchthon House is a museum that preserves valuable collections of prints, coins and medals. The collections contain unique treasures dedicated to historical events or outstanding personalities. The "Reformation" is a central theme of the collections.

The church historian Nikolaus Müller laid the foundations for these collections prior to the opening of the Melanchthon House. The collections are constantly being expanded with funds from the Melanchthon Association (Melanchthonverein) Bretten.
